I went to Colorado Springs for a sale on March 23, 2024. I went to Salida to see friends and I also went to Castle Rock The sale was fun as the customers were great!
Road trip to Las Vegas 2/23/24
Bucket list for 2024 was to see U2 at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Mission accomplished. Also watched my buddy Rodrigo run the Rock N Roll Half Marathon. A very fun trip!

No BIG trips since Australia. I have enjoyed many family gatherings, a major class reunion, and driving to POP UP sales. Below is a photo from the Iowa State Fair.

Selling vintage clothing has been busy so travel is limited. I did stop to see the Grotto of Redemption in West Bend, Iowa. It’s a beautifal place!
The Ax Murder House in Villisca, Iowa. On June 10, 1912, someone murdered two adults and six children while they were sleeping. This remains an unsolved murder. The house is open for touring.
The Surf Ballroom opened on April 17, 1934. The venue is known for the Winter Dance Party that was held on February 2, 1959. After the performance, the plane with J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, Ritchie Valens, and Buddy Holly crashed outside of Clear Lake, Iowa. There were no survivors. A Winter Dance Party is held every year at the Surf the first weekend of February.
